J.W. Messner in Grand Rapids, Mich., has retained the St. Louis-area Chevrolet dealer advertising business. The win follows a review that also included Lois EJL, Chicago; Graham Advertising in Colorado Springs, Colo., and B.A. Advertising in Dallas.
Messner has handled the $8 million account for 10 years. Centered in St. Louis, the dealer group also includes parts of Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas.
The St. Louis Area Marketing Group was the last of the dealer organizations to conduct a review. It was urged to do so by officials at General Motors' Chevrolet division as part of the marketing reorganization of the division's dealer network.
