NEW YORK — Merkley Newman Harty & Partners has tapped former account executive Susan Serenska to succeed Steve Bowen as director of new business development in New York.

Serenska, 39, most recently was director of client services at Lowe Consumer Healthcare in New York. Before that, she held senior account posts at Foote, Cone & Belding and Bozell, working on brands such as Colgate and Nabisco. At Merkley, Serenska reports to chief marketing officer Lou Killeffer.
