U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary Tommy Thompson and the Ad Council unveiled a PSA campaign Friday designed to provide Americans with information about flu vaccinations. The effort, tagged “Give others a shot,” created pro bono by Omnicom’s Merkley + Partners in New York, asks people to skip or postpone getting shots if they are not in a priority group for the flu and also provides tips to prevent the flu’s spread. The campaign includes TV, radio and Internet ads.
