Total Film Group has acquired a trio of Los Angeles-area specialty companies to form an agency unit called Total Creative Inc.
The Los Angeles-based entertainment holding company acquired feature film advertising boutique Michel/Russo, advertising and graphic design firm Dyer Communications and online digital ad agency Skyrocket Interactive for an undisclosed sum.
The newly merged Total Creative will specialize in print and broadcast advertising, corporate identity, online branding and marketing and motion picture trailers and posters.
“We will provide one-stop shopping for clients seeking conceptual, strategic and design expertise,” said Dan Michel, co-founder of Michel/Russo.
Michel and partner Howard Russo, both former Columbia Pictures marketing executives, have created posters for films such as Gods and Monsters and Affliction.
Dyer, headed by Rod Dyer, has developed a corporate identity for Wherehouse Music and print ads for Eastman Kodak.
