NEW YORK Havas’ Media Planning Group (MPG) has expanded into Canada, the company said today.

Toronto-based Maxxmedia, a division of Arnold Worldwide Canada, has been renamed MPG/Maxxmedia. The change marks MPG’s first official expansion into the country.

Maxxmedia president David Chung remains in his current role but will now report to MPG North America president and CEO Jim Rose. No change in management, staff or client responsibilities is planned. Media operations of Havas’ Arnold and Euro RSCG have been consolidated under the MPG umbrella in recent history.
