Renee Milliaressis was recently named TeleVest's director of brand advocacy, leaving her post as media director of full-service accounts at fellow MacManus Group company D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York. Milliaressis took on her new duties following the consolidation of Procter & Gamble's network TV buying at TeleVest, owing to her longtime familiarity with P&G brands. Among her duties, which she explains are still in flux, is to liaise between TeleVest and the various P&G brand agencies, using her 17 years' experience in media planning.
CAREER: Milliaressis started as assistant media planner at Rosenfeld Sirowitz & Lawson, New York, in 1981. She later became a senior media planner at Leber Katz Partners, New York, before moving to DMB&B in 1984. Former clients include American Home Products, Sharp Electronics, Marine Midland Bank, Harlequin Enterprises and General Foods.
ON HER FUTURE AT TELEVEST: "The ride never stops. There's always something ahead. I feel very front and center, even without being a public figure."
