MDC Buys Stake In Canadian I-Shop

Toronto-based MDC has acquired a 65 percent stake in henderson bas, formerly known as ninedots, the holding company said last week. The 41-person i-shop, also based in Toronto, claims $6-7 million in revenue from clients such as Molson, Levi's and Nike. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The shop changed its name from ninedots in March due to a copyright issue, said a company representative.
