ATLANTA A new campaign for this year’s Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is more than advertising, according to McKinney + Silver. The effort’s television and print ads, posters, Web site and movie trailers embody documentaries the same way that the event celebrates the artistic medium.

“Grief, passion, triumphs of the spirit are all common themes in documentaries, and they are themes that shape our culture,” said David Baldwin, agency executive creative director. The idea behind the campaign, added Baldwin, was to create advertising that would serve as mini documentaries in an effort to inspire people, create change and move them to attend the festival in Durham, N.C.
