NEW YORK McDonald’s and Sony aren’t playing around when it comes to the “Only the Mac Knows” promotion running this month at the Golden Arches.

The Oak Brook, Ill.-based chain will give away a prize pool of 50,000 items, topped by the new Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). The handheld entertainment device, which launched in March, is Sony’s answer to Nintendo’s GameBoy line.

The “Only the Mac Code Knows” promotion gives consumers who buy a Big Mac or large fries a unique code that they can enter at PlayatMcD.com
