CHICAGO DDB has created a new television spot for McDonald’s that will break prior to kickoff and immediately following the singing of the national anthem during the telecast of Super Bowl XXXVII.

The 30-second commercial from the Chicago shop breaks Jan. 26 and continues McDonald’s “Smile” campaign.

The ad shows a father and son at home sharing the hardships of a tough day. The pair complains about a broken car, a bicycle’s flat tire and a surprise math quiz.
