Seeking More Control, Founder Joins DVC
CHICAGO–Executives of Minneapolis promotions agency McCracken Brooks said the departure of founder and chairman Keith McCracken could lead to a name change but otherwise won’t not affect operations.
“The credit for us being where we are as an agency doesn’t rest on one person,” said chief creative officer David Sandberg. However, Sandberg hinted that, with its two founders now gone, the shop may take a fresh moniker.
Citing a desire for more independence, McCracken, 54, announced last week he was resigning as chairman of the agency he founded 13 years ago.
