NEW YORK Ben Langdon, McCann-Erickson’s regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has resigned and will be replaced by David Warden, who becomes EMEA director, the agency confirmed.

There are no plans to permanently replace London-based Langdon, a McCann representative said, because the agency’s European operations were reorganized last month into five sub-groups, each with its own manager. In that reorganization, Warden was promoted to regional director for operations Europe.

In a statement, McCann WorldGroup chairman and CEO John Dooner said, in part, “We respect Ben’s decision to explore a new direction in his professional career.”
