IPG’s McCann-Erickson has signed Brett Gosper as general manager of its flagship New York office and Rupert Howell as chairman of its London office, the shop confirmed. Gosper, 42, joins next month from Havas’ Euro RSCG in London, where he was co-chairman. Howell, 46, was a founder of London agency HHCL & Partners, now defunct. His appointment was expected [Adweek online, July 30].
