SAN FRANCISCO — Rob Kabus has been named director of strategic planning at McCann-Erickson, San Francisco effective this week. He is the second former Leagas Delaney executive to join the agency in the last four months.

In addition to overseeing McCann’s account planning department, Kabus, 42, is also in charge of the Universal McCann media planners who operate out of the San Francisco office.

Previously Kabus was director of strategic planning at Leagas, where his duties often bridged account planning and media planning.
