NEW YORK–McCann-Erickson Worldwide has emerged as a sixth contender in the review of Citibank’s U.S. ad account, despite an apparent conflict overseas, sources said.
McCann, which handles Deutsche Bank’s business in Europe, is nonetheless pursuing Citibank, according to sources. As a roster shop that works for sister company Salomon Smith Barney, McCann was upset when it was not initially invited, sources said.
