Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits has awarded the Sailormen markets in seven states to McCann-Erickson Southwest.

Sailormen, a division of Interfoods, is Popeyes’ largest franchisee with 160 restaurants throughout the Southeast.

The new markets boost total Popeyes billings at McCann in Dallas from $8 million to more than $13 million. The added business also cements McCann’s position as the chain’s dominant regional agency.

McCann’s relationship with the fast-food chain began just over a year ago with the acquisition of Popeyes’ New Orleans and Central Gulf Coast regional markets.
