The offices of the former McCann-Erickson in Atlanta officially closed last week, putting the stamp on a merger completed last February between that agency and Fitzgerald & Co., also in Atlanta.
The site at 615 Peachtree became dormant as about 85 staff members moved to Buckhead Plaza, where the combined Interpublic-owned entity known as Fitzgerald will be housed.
The $130 million shop was formed when both agencies approved the deal that brought Fitzgerald under the aegis of the Interpublic Group of Cos.
