Mazda North American Operations is preparing to launch the all-new MPV minivan with its largest ad campaign of the year.
The estimated $40 million effort, from national agency Doner, Southfield, Mich., is bigger than either of last year’s campaigns for the all-new Miata roadster and Protegƒ compact sedan, said Tim Blett, president of Doner Automotive.
Two 30-second TV spots break Sept. 6, supported by a three-page launch ad in October magazine issues. Outdoor and Internet efforts are also planned.
