NEW YORK MasterCard has entered a relationship with live entertainment marketer Clear Channel Entertainment in which the credit-card company will sponsor Clear Channel's Broadway Across America program, MasterCard said.
Clear Channel Entertainment operates Broadway Across America, a subscription service offered to theater aficionados in 28 North America regions.
Touring companies for shows such as Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, Contact, Fosse, The Full Monty, Kiss Me Kate, Disney's The Lion King, The Producers, Rent and others are participants in Broadway Across America.
The program's offerings through MasterCard include preferred seating, advance sales and other special ticket offers. The Purchase, N.Y., client will also buy ad space in the theater magazine Show People, jointly published by Clear Channel Entertainment and Forbes.
