CGN Marketing & Creative Services is getting ready to launch a print campaign for the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

A print execution will break in mid-May in the Boston Globe and The New York Times. The ad features a pair of young girls on a bench in the city's Public Gardens and the headline, "In Boston, everything's closer. Even the people who visit." Text touts various attractions, including the Museum of Fine Art, Fenway Park and Harvard Square.

The ad is also running in June and July editions of publications such as Condé Nast Traveler and Boston magazine.

The Visitors Bureau tapped CGN for project work to coincide with the agency's ongoing push for the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism.

Spending is in the mid-six figures.

The client continues to handle meeting and convention advertising through Boston's Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing.
