CHICAGO Pfizer’s animal health division has awarded its livestock and equine advertising accounts to Omnicom Group’s Martin/Williams after a review, a company representative confirmed.

The business, which includes drug treatments for cattle, swine and horses, had previously been split between two independent agencies: Charleston/Orwig in Hartland, Wis., and Rhea & Kaiser Marketing Communications in Naperville, Ill. Contenders were not disclosed, though it’s believed the incumbents did defend.

Pfizer, the world’s largest drug company, joins Cargill and Syngenta Crop Protection on the Minneapolis agency’s roster of agribusiness clients.
