The markets tumbled last week to close at their lowest level this year, due to fears that the economy was slowing and inflation may be rising. Already down 229 points from Wednesday and Thursday trading, the Dow Jones industrial average fell another 191.24 points on Friday after the Federal Reserve reported drops in manufacturing and the Labor Department reported that high oil prices were making imports more expensive.
