Continuing the recent rash of celebrity-named furniture offerings, Leather Center this month initiates a national print campaign to introduce the Marilyn Monroe Intimate Allure Collection.
Among the offerings: a bright red “Scarlet Kiss” two-seat chaise and a lavender “Marilyn by Moonlight” leather bed.
A $3 million magazine and newspaper advertising campaign was developed internally by the Carrollton, Texas-based company. The work will be introduced nationally over a period of eight to 10 months.
“We wanted to offer an exclusive furniture collection that would instill passion and create allure while maintaining the highest quality design, materials and construction,” said Fernando Sanchez, vice president of marketing and administration for Leather Center.
