A Louisiana hosptial’s new ad has motorists dialing 911. The frantic callers report that someone is falling from a ladder while working on a billboard on an interstate near Slidell, La. Following up on more than a half-dozen calls, state police and firefighters recently arrived at the sign to find a man, clad in painter’s overalls, dangling 20 feet above the ground.

On closer inspection they were relieved to discover the faller is actually a mannequin, who helps to illustrate the three-dimensional ad’s tagline, courtesy of New Orleans agency Trumpet: “Trouble is never far away.
