Only months after winning the Flooz.com business in July, Hanft Byrne Raboy & Partners is breaking its first ads for the gift service, starring Whoopi Goldberg.
Goldberg appears throughout Flooz’s TV, outdoor and radio effort, in live and animated forms on its Web site, and in online gift cards and e-mails. People may buy “flooz” from the New York client and send them to others, who may use flooz as currency at various e-tailers. Flooz receives commissions from participating merchants for purchases made with flooz, said co-founder and CEO Robert Levitan.
In seven TV spots, directed by filmmaker Ted Demme, Goldberg lauds Flooz to would-be gift givers.
