Dweck & Campbell is expected to pick up ad chores from Fresh Samantha following a review of New York agencies.
Billings were not disclosed, but the Saco, Maine-based maker of all-natural juices will likely spend $1-3 million annually on advertising, said sources.
Fresh Samantha and Dweck were in “serious talks” late last week, confirmed client representative Carin Warner. She said the account will be handled on a “project” basis but did not elaborate.
A print and radio campaign is expected from the agency in the spring, according to sources familiar with the business.
Angotti Thomas Hedge, DiMassimo, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Devito Verdi also made a bid for the business, according to sources, but it was unclear at press time how many made formal presentations.
Dweck’s packaged-goods and food-related experience includes several years handling clients such as Elan Frozen Yogurt and Brighams Ice Cream.
