BOSTON Independent agency Forge Worldwide said it has added marketing chores for Bangor Savings Bank following a review.

The bank, founded in 1852, operates 45 Maine-based locations and manages about $2 billion in total assets.

“They’re a bank with great heart and inspired leadership,” said Rob Stewart, partner and co-cd at Forge in Waltham, Mass. “They’re naturally positioned to out-serve big out-of-state banks, and they have more products than small banks provide.”

Forge will craft an integrated brand campaign including TV, radio, print and online elements, as well as environmental branch designs featuring Maine-built furniture.
