Sixteen ad agencies from the New York area will auction or sell trips, art and client products Sept. 25 at Madison Avenue Sellout, an auction/flea market to benefit the UJA Federation AIDS Initiative.
Unusual items on the block range from an adult-sized go-cart, donated by Bozell Worldwide, to a trip to the Mo’t & Chandon Chateau in France from Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.
Other prize highlights: two original Andy Warhol pictures from Wells BDDP, dinner with former New York Ranger Rod Gilbert from Christy MacDougall Mitchell, lunch with DDB Needham Worldwide’s chairman and chief executive Keith Reinhard, and a year’s supply of Dawn dish-washing liquid from Procter & Gamble.
The UJA expects 700 people to drop by the Metropolitan Pavilion on 19th Street, New York, that night.
This is the first industry-wide AIDS benefit, said event co-chairman Richard Kirshenbaum.
