Shabang!com, a personal shopping site on the Internet, has appointed M2K as its advertising agency of record.
The online specialist also chose the Dallas office of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide as its public relations counsel.
Austin, Texas-based M2K, which specializes in promoting Internet companies, will execute a national campaign comprised of both traditional and online media. Edelman will handle brand and corporate positioning, media relations, special events and trade show support.
Annual billings for the account were not disclosed.
Shabang!com offers online space to retailers with services including research and analysis, advertising support, and storefront setup and maintenance.
