Steve Luker, who left Publicis & Hal Riney before the shop’s fortunes waned with the Saturn loss, has returned to Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Luker, 37, is again teaming with Goodby partner and creative director Steve Simpson. The two had been a team when Luker last worked at the San Francisco agency. “We’ve got one of the best teams in America now. They are powerful,” agency co-founder Rich Silverstein said.

Luker left Goodby in 1998 to freelance and joined Riney in 1999 to work on Hewlett-Packard and numerous dot-com clients.
