Lowe Lintas & Partners has promoted Peter Hempel to evp, general manager, account management in the first of several moves designed to strengthen and codify the inner-workings of the shop.
Hempel, 44, an evp, managing director at the New York shop since 1993, continues to steer four accounts: Ralston Purina, Braun, Western Union and Courtyard by Marriott. His new charge is to drive efforts to recruit, retain and nurture talent.
“He really has both the heart and the brains [for the task],” said Rob Quish, New York president.
