Love Takes Global Post at TBWA

NEW YORK TBWA Worldwide said it has appointed Tim Love president, global clients, a new position at the Omnicom Group-owned agency network.

Love, 54, will report to Jean-Marie Dru, president and chief executive of TBWA Worldwide. He also joins a newly formed cxecutive committee along with Lee Clow, chairman and CCO; Paul Bainsfair, president of European operations; Tom Carroll, president for the Americas; Keith Smith, president, Asia Pacific; Jonathan Ramsden, CFO; and Dru.

Love will be based in Tokyo, where he will oversee TBWA's relationship with its largest global client, Nissan. In this capacity, Love will also serve as
co-chairman of G1 Worldwide, the joint venture between TBWA and Hakuhodo that works on the Nissan account.

Love was previously vice chairman, international of Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi and a member of the agency's executive board. Before joining Saatchi in 1999, Love spent 10 years with D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, where he was a member of the worldwide board of directors and oversaw the Pillsbury and P&G accounts.

exceptionally strong record of helping global clients build their businesses." said Dru in a statement.

TBWA Worldwide also said that Bainsfair, who has been chairman of the board of TBWA Europe and president for Northern Europe operations, has assumed the position of president of European operations with day-to-day oversight for all activities in that region.
