BOSTON The Delaware Supreme Court today ruled that the American Legacy Foundation’s “Truth” anti-smoking campaign does not vilify or personally attack tobacco companies or their employees.

According to a statement from Legacy, “The decision could finally mean the end of a contentious dispute that threatened to close the foundation’s doors and end the only effective national youth tobacco prevention campaign.”

This decision was the result of an appeal made by Lorillard Tobacco after the Delaware Chancery Court found in favor of the foundation a year ago.
