NEW YORK — The Lord Group has won the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism account following pitches late last month, sources said.

The New York-based shop beat out CGN in Boston, The Zimmerman Agency in Tallahassee, Fla., Work in Richmond, Va., and DiMassimo Brand Advertising in New York for the $8-10 million account. The Lord Group declined comment.

The review, which was launched in July, was managed by Darien, Conn.-based consultancy Madigan Pratt & Associates.

The 18-year incumbent, O’Leary Clarke & Partners in New York, did not defend.
