The New York offices of TBWA Chiat/Day play a role in Casanova Falling, a recently completed movie about a sex-obsessed ad executive.
A third of the film takes place inside the shop's green glass building on Maiden Lane.
Mark Feuerstein plays Ralph, the chief creative officer at fictional Gallant Advertising. Amy Redford (Robert's daughter) is Elizabeth, an account executive. Dabney Coleman plays the head of the agency.
The movie juxtaposes Ralph's sex addiction with an industry not shy about using sex to sell. A poster for the film describes it as "a romantic comedy in 12 steps." It could be released as early as fall.
Other spaces that producers Daniel Bigel and Michael Mailer considered were those of Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in SoHo and Grey Advertising in Midtown. But writer and director Christopher Kublan loved the idea of a "virtual" office with portable phones, lockers, free-standing computers and a "clubhouse." A couple of agency staffers even landed roles as extras. -- Andrew McMains
