Continuing to brand itself as more than a direct-marketing shop, Lieber Levett Koenig Farese Babcock has added four new clients since last fall, pushing its total billings past $80 million.
The latest arrivals are Productbuzz.com ($10 million) and Xanboo.com ($5 million). The New York shop also landed new business, with undisclosed billings, from existing client Bristol-Myers Squibb and direct-marketing duties for two new Saatchi & Saatchi clients: Prism Communications Services and Celebrity Cruises. LLKFB, through an alliance, is Saatchi & Saatchi's direct-marketing partner.
For Productbuzz.com, a Net marketplace for healthcare products and services, LLKFB is handling advertising, direct marketing and media planning. The Boulder, Colo., client chose LLKFB over undisclosed others, after meeting agency executives and seeing past work for Xerox and Lucent Technologies, said CEO Bob Lieber.
The shop's first work for the client-- a copy-driven print ad--positions Productbuzz.com as easy to use and economical, under the headline, "Heard the buzz?"
Xanboo.com, New York, hired LLKFB to develop collateral, a project that may lead to a broader relationship. The company, which markets technology that lets homeowners monitor their houses via computers, also considered Marsteller Advertising, here, said Bill Diamond, client co-president.
For Bristol-Myers, LLKFB is handling a new drug launch, sources said. Lieber declined to elaborate.
