Little Tikes Takes On Empower

CHICAGO The Little Tikes Company, a division of Newell Rubbermaid, assigned its media planning and buying duties to Empower MediaMarketing, company executives said.

Empower has begun planning a $6.5 million fourth-quarter campaign encompassing national network, cable and print.

Annual media spending was not disclosed. Little Tikes, a Hudson, Ohio-based manufacturer and marketer of children’s products, spent $6 million on advertising last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

The Cincinnati shop was given the assignment without a review, sources said.
