Despite a Fed decision to leave interest rates alone, stocks dropped last week amid pessimism about the economy’s overall health. The Dow came close to its January 2000 high, but fell lower later in the week, dropping 30.25 points to close at 11,508.10, a 0.3 percent decline. The Nasdaq dropped 0.6 percent to 2,218.93, down 14.06 points. Ad stocks were mixed. Omnicom closed at 90.19, down just over 2 percent. Interpublic Group fell to 9.61,
