Let It Snow, Says Fallon

As people in the Northeast dug out from the blizzard of 2005 last week, they may have felt especially connected to a Fallon ad for the Bahamas that broke this month. The gatefold ad shows a man carving the letters “S.O.S.” into the snow with a shovel. The idea was to avoid traditional destination-advertising images like snorklers and “get into the heads of people about why they want to escape,” says Todd Riddle, group creative director at the Minneapolis agency.
