Newcomer Readies Department Store’s Major ‘E-Commerce’ Push
SAN FRANCISCO–Macy’s.com has tapped startup shop Left Field to handle its ad account, following a review of several undisclosed Bay Area shops. The full-service agency, based here, will create an online ad campaign to promote and support the October relaunch of the client’s Web site at www.macys.com.
The account is estimated to be worth about $3-5 million. Although Left Field is initially creating only online ads, Macy’s.com may have the 2-year-old agency develop a campaign incorporating traditional media.
