BOSTON Leary & Tiziani, a fixture on the local agency scene for a dozen years, has changed its name to Tiziani Whitmyre to reflect the recent promotion of Richard Whitmyre to president and principal.

The move “completes the transition started 10 months ago” when co-founder Bob Leary retired, said Bob Tiziani, CEO of the 25-person independent shop in Sharon, Mass. Tiziani is looking to position the agency to midsize companies as a streamlined provider of services ranging from advertising, direct response and design to public relations and interactive development.
