Laughlin/Constable didn’t have to wait long in its search for a retail client to replace bankrupt Montgomery Ward & Co.

Carson Pirie Scott & Co. and three other chains under the Saks Department Store Group shifted their $15-20 million business to the Milwaukee and Chicago shop last week without a review.

Saks is moving its entire $35 million business from WestWayne in Atlanta. Other chains in the group, Younkers, Parisian and Proffitt’s, are expected to make individual decisions on their agencies.
