LBTG Adds Imation, 2 Others

The Leo Burnett Technology Group has added three accounts, including data storage company Imation.

With two previous account wins, the unit has added $50 million in billings, allowing the Chicago office to be the only office in LBTG to avoid layoffs, said Carl Treimstra, managing director of the office.

Besides Imation, new clients include Web-hosting group Interland and Forest Express, an e-services firm backed by timber and paper companies. Previous account pickups were software company Evoke Communications and document management company Océ.

LBTG laid off about 10 percent of its work force last month, mostly in the Boston and San Francisco offices [Adweek, Jan.
