ATLANTA Jim Laseter is retiring as chairman of Wray Ward Laseter, effective tomorrow, the shop said.
Laseter, 53, has been a partner in the independent Charlotte, N.C., agency since 1991 and is the last of the three original partners remaining. Partners Charlie Ward and Bob Ward retired more than a decade ago. Laseter does not retain an ownership stake in the shop.
“After 25 years, I have seen and done just about everything there is to see and do in the ad world and I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life,” Laseter said.
