boston—In a national broadcast campaign, Rural Cellular portrays cell phones as an everyday necessity no matter where you live. The effort, from Kelliher Samets Volk, debuts the tagline, “Part of life here.”

“We took a slice of life—people shopping and running errands—to show that, even in tiny towns, people are busy, and they still need to stay connected,” said Bill Drew, creative director at the Burlington, Vt., agency.

A 30-second spot opens at a small-town grocery store.
