NEW YORK Kraft Foods is assessing its agency compensation system and has hired New York consultancy Beekman Associates to manage the process, sources said.

Kraft, which markets brands such as Oreo, Ritz and Jell-O, uses five primary agencies for creative duties: Interpublic Group’s Foote, Cone & Belding; WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather and Young & Rubicam; and Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett. Some of the shops, such as Ogilvy, work for Kraft globally; others, such as Leo Burnett, work on domestic assignments.
