LOUISVILLE - Korbel Champagne launched a non-traditional, humorous holiday advertising campaign last Saturday in 10 major markets themed 'Korbel - For People Who Know Champagne.' Three 30-second TV spots position Korbel as the appropriate champagne choice for several occasions. 'Shoe' highlights a romantic moment when a man drinks champagne out of a woman's shoe. He spits it out abruptly as he realizes it is not Korbel. 'Fireplace' depicts a couple at a refined holiday party who smash their glasses into a fireplace when they realize the champagne's not Korbel. The campaign is the first effort from recently named agency Carmichael Lynch/Minneapolis.
