SAN FRANCISCO Noel Cottrell is leaving his job as executive creative director of Kirshenbaum Bond here to move to the East Coast, an agency representative said today.
Cottrell, a native of South Africa, was hired at the San Francisco shop in late 2002.
His decision to leave was made last week. He and his wife Robyn recently had their second daughter, Talia, and the family prefers to be on the East Coast, the rep explained.
"It's really a lifestyle decision," she said.
The office will undergo a restructuring rather than appoint a new San Francisco ecd, according to the agency. Creative will be handled by managing partner and co-executive creative director Rob Feakins in the New York office.
Cottrell will continue in a consulting capacity from New York during the transition, the rep said.
At Kirshenbaum Bond San Francisco, Cottrell oversaw accounts such as Vegas.com, Epiphany, Party City and Cortiva.
