Kessler Collection Checks Into Push

ATLANTA The Kessler Collection has retained Push to develop a brand identity for its luxury hotels and launch an advertising campaign, the independent agency said.

The company held a review that included five undisclosed regional agencies, said Mary C. Kenny, director of marketing for the hotelier. There was no incumbent. The company previously used freelancers to create its advertising.

Billings were not disclosed, but the budget for 2005 exceeds the amount Kessler has spent in previous years, Kenny said.

The company decided to unify its marketing with a single ad agency because of recent growth, Kenny said. In recent months, the client has added Beaver Creek Lodge in Beaver Creek, Colo., and The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Ga., to its portfolio. The additions give the company a total of nine hotels in Colorado, Georgia and Florida.

The ad campaign from the Orlando, Fla., shop is scheduled to start in November and will include print ads, collateral material and promotional videos.
