Kerker Tops Minny Ad Show

CHICAGO A cowboy-outfit clad, dog-riding monkey featured in a television spot from Kerker took home best of show honors at the Minneapolis Ad Show Thursday night.

The ad, called “The Burrito Incident” for fast-food company Taco John’s, also won gold for best single TV spot at the annual event. That award was shared with a Staples commercial from Omnicom Group’s Martin/Williams.

“In a market that produces some of the world’s most innovative and most effective advertising, it’s a great honor to receive this kind of recognition from our peers,” said Chris Preston, Kerker’s creative director, in a statement.
